Anthony Joshua prepares to battle the American YouTuber in an eight round match which will be streamed live on Netflix.
British boxer Joshua stated he will "dominate completely" the American and "break" the American as the two fighters met personally to promote the upcoming heavyweight fight.
Ex twice world title holder Anthony Joshua faces YouTuber-turned-boxer Paul - in what is, on paper, a mammoth uneven pairing - at Miami venue on December 19th.
Boxer's Attitude
"I'm going to injure his face and damage his physique. My goal is to show I'm the better fighter," Joshua, 35, declared.
"I will dominate him completely. That's the boxer's mindset.
"I intend to seriously aim to hurt him. That's what I want to do."
Civil Exchange
Despite these statements, a calm Joshua and social media star Jake Paul - normally known for his showmanship - exchanged pleasantries and kept it respectful with each other.
Jake Paul rather attacked ex Joshua rival Francis Ngannou and called him "a joke" after the Cameroonian declined a fight offer.
Targeting Tyson Fury
Joshua, at the same time, took aim at British opponent Fury - and rejected a million-pound wager 'The Gypsy King' says he will place on a victory for Paul.
"Jake Paul is better than Tyson Fury - he's present here," the boxer stated.
"I acknowledge that."
Legitimate Opponent
Despite stating he plans to punish Paul, Anthony Joshua declined to speak negatively about his rival's pugilistic talent.
"Jake Paul is a legitimate boxer," he said.
Paul's History
Paul - who originally gained popularity on the television network - has mostly boxed mixed martial artists or faded names since entering professional boxing.
He was defeated by Briton Tommy Fury in last year.
Commercial Success
Still, the inexperienced fighter continues to be one of boxing's greatest money-making draws, frequently receiving substantial financial rewards.
Prediction and Belief
The 28-year-old predicted a stoppage in rounds four or five and claimed he would prevent the much-anticipated Fury-Joshua bout, which is reportedly in the works for 2026.
"It's going to be my match with Fury in the coming year," Jake Paul said.
Size Difference
As both boxers engaged in the traditional confrontation, with their size difference evident, it emphasized just how surprising this entire matchup is - and how remarkable it is that the fight is truly proceeding.
